NIGIRI SUSHI WITH PRAWNS

INGREDIENTS (for 16 pieces):
16 King prawns
2 Tbs rice vinegar
Im Asiashop erhältlich :-)
1 Ts sugar  
salt  
400 g (13 oz) cooked sushi rice
Im Asiashop erhältlich :-)
2 Tbs wasabi paste
Im Asiashop erhältlich :-)
wooden scewers  
to serve : soy sauce, wasabi paste, pickled ginger
available at Asian grocers

PREPARATION:

How to make Nigiri Sushi (pictures)

1. Peel prawns.

2. Stick prawns onto the scewers. That way they do not shrink during cooking.

3. Bring water and a little bit of salt to boil and add prawn scewers. Let boil for one minute.

4. Combine rice vinegar and sugar.

5. Take scewers out of the water and sprinkle with the vinegar and sugar mixture. Let sit for two minutes.

6. Take prawns of the scewer and cut prawns in the middle and remove the gut. Then unfold the prawn like a butterfly.

7. Spread a little bit wasabi paste onto the inside of the prawn and put it onto the rice ball.

6. Serve with soy sauce, wasabi paste and pickled ginger
