SUSHI BEGINNERS




Your first Sushis will probably not come out as perfect as they could be. But important is they taste good. The more you practice the better the Sushis will look like.

To begin with Sushi you need the following ingredients and dishes.

For the Sushi:
Norisheets (=Seaweed sheets)
fresh fish
(for beginning we suggest to use salmon or tuna)
vegetables
(cucumber, avocado, red pepper)

Sushi-Rice

To Serve (click here for "How to eat Sushi"):
Wasabi paste

Pickled ginger
Soy sauce

Dishes:
Large bowl to cool down the rice
Large spoon
Bamboo mat
sharp knife

When making sushi you should start with cooking the rice.

Then cut the ingredients and set aside on plates.

Finally you can start with preparing the Sushi. If you have bought salmon, tuna, cucumber and avocado you already have the ingredients for eight different Sushis. Maki Salmon, Maki Tuna, Nigiri Salmon, Nigiri Tuna, Kappa Maki, California Roll

These Sushis are the most famous: Maki Sushi (Sushi Rolls), Nigiri Sushi (Finger Sushi) and Sashimi (raw fish)

Decorate everything nicely on a plate and serve with soy sauce, wasabi paste and ginger.
